About Livia Frankish

I am a clarinet graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London and a member of the Prizewinning Risatina Wind Quintet and the CrossContemporary Project. I have been teaching for five years and playing for fifteen. During this time I have had the honour to play at major concert venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall New York with professional orchestras and national youth ensembles (National Youth Orchestra of Wales, NYWOW, and NYWO). I am fascinated by Eastern-European folk music, in particular Klezmer. I am a peripatetic music teacher with the Tower Hamlets Music Education Hub in London teaching primary school children clarinet and recorder.
